I wear my fair share of streetwear (rhyme alert), and when I heard about this collab I was immediately interested. I wound up copping the Nike Air Max 95 Stussy Loyal Blue colorway (green and black pairs also released).
These feature some branding on the insole and tongue and come with a couple of different sets of laces in a drawer-style orange box.
A dark blue runner like this looks great with shorts, khakis or black denim. I’d avoid dark blue jeans with these unless you rock a cuff or pinroll. Depending on what pants you’re wearing, I would pair these with a white, grey or black top.
I’ve seen a few Stussy collabs such as the dunk with Nike SB come and go, and they are usually dope. There was clearly a lot of hype for these because they are sold out in all colorways on Nike.com. You are definitely getting your money’s worth when you cop a pair from this collaboration!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are really nice. A combination of soft suede, ballistic nylon and mesh comprise the uppers. The first thing I did was feel the suede and it definitely is of a premium quality. Also, the pink hits just pop on these and the whole tongue seems to be reflective to a degree, with the strip down the middle definitely being 3M.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Max 95 Stussy Loyal Blue fit like other Air Max 95s I’ve reviewed. Pretty much comfortable and true to size. If you own any chunkier retro Air Max 95s, then you already know what to expect fit-wise.
