Nike Air Max 200 (1992 World Stage) Review

Updated March 25, 2020 by Anthony

The Nike Air Max 200 (1992 World Stage) colorway is inspired by the 1992 summer olympics in Barcelona.

Fresh off a futuristic pair of Air Max, it’s on to another new model, only this one emulates an older style!

Here’s another pair that I just wanted to try and this colorway stuck out to me. Overall this shoe does a good job of emulating an older shoe while still being a new model.

These don’t really come with extras or features. The box is the typical Nike Sportswear orange box and some white rope laces with some shiny bits in them.

How Are The Materials?

They use retro runner type materials on these. We get a basic suede/mesh/leather combination. The leather on the back of the shoe and the eyelets is nothing impressive while the suede is a typical felt suede. The mesh does seem to be a good tight weave though. I was not expecting top notch materials, and while these materials do not excite at all, they don’t disappoint either. The quality is exactly what you thinks it’s going to be just looking at the shoe.

How Do They Fit?

These Nike Air Max 200 (1992 World Stage) fit comfortably at my true Nike size of a 10. For reference, this is the same size I would get in another Air Max or Jordan 1, so whatever you get in Nikes normally should work here. These are pretty much just as comfortable on foot as other retro runners like the Air Max 90, if not slightly more thanks to the more modern midsole and larger air unit.
