Nike SB Dunk Low Light Cream Review

Updated May 25, 2019 by Anthony

After scooping up the True Berry dunks, I had to grab their cousins as they seem to be part of an unofficial pack. Enter the Nike SB Dunk Low Light Cream.

These get their name from the colorway. I can’t tell if the spare laces are pure white or offwhite.

I do think the True Berry are easier to form into an outfit based off the maroon/grey combo. However, these do look slick with certain clothing configurations. I’d pair these with either a black or khaki denim, although grey and other washes can work as well. Throw on a grey or black top and you have the basics of an outfit. These are probably not going to go perfectly with a lot of looks as the tone of blue used is a bit odd, so make sure to double check your fit as a whole and make sure it all works together.

I may have just gotten serious FOMO with these. I like looking at the shoe, but I find it hard to rock in outfits and have it look put together. Definitely a kick that stands on its own with respect to colorway, so I can still say I’m glad to have them in the collection!

How Are The Materials?

The materials here are the same as the True Berry colorway. The shoe utilizes a basic suede and leather combination, and while none of it is premium, it is par for the course for a GR SB. I wouldn’t grab these thinking they will be super lush or buttery, but instead these are more of a “colorway” shoe. As in, get these if you want the colorway. That said, the materials aren’t terrible, just not impressive either. At least the suede is not sandpaper or felt, but does have some thickness and softness to it – just not to a luxurious extent.

How Do They Fit?

These Nike SB Dunk Low Light Cream are somewhat comfortable at true to size. These types of kicks tend to require break in for optimal comfort so after a couple of wears these should feel a bit better on feet. I went a half size up and these are actually way more comfortable that way, with the extra room saving my pinky toes and feet from fatigue and rub. I might just start going a half size up on all new SBs based off this discovery!
