Hot on the heels of picking up the Phantom 1s, we have another J1 drop. These Air Jordan 1 High Crimson Tint aren’t necessarily as eye-catching as the Phantoms, but they are super clean!
The shoe gets its name from the colorway. The lace choices included are white, pink and green. Basically this is a pink option for the Air Jordan 1, provided in a straightforward manner with no bells or whistles other than the extra lace choices. I copped because the idea of a 1 with some pink on it interested me; so if you’re into this colorway, this is a no brainer!
Black and pink are fairly easy to match up in an outfit. Two easy choices either light wash denim and a grey or white top or black denim and a black top. This way, you can either work these into a Spring/Summer type palette or make them more of a blackout type of kick with a little pop. Lace choice can also help accentuate the fit although the black lace will look good in whatever combo you choose.
How Are The Materials?
The material quality is not mind-blowing but not as bad as some made it out to be either. The leather only has a slight bit of a shiny finish to it. The black parts have a tumble to them and the pink parts are smooth.
While not premium quality, the leather is at least somewhat soft and not stiff like other recent Jordan releases have been. Overall I cut the materials a pass since GR Jordan 1s aren’t known for great materials to begin with, and what’s provided is adequate for what type of shoe this is.
How Do They Fit?
In typical Air Jordan 1 fashion, these fit a bit narrow and long, so I say stick with your regular Nike size on these. At true size, these might require a little break in but will ultimately provide a satisfactory level of comfort; nothing fancy with these. As usual, avoid prolonged wear in these the first few times they are rocked to cut down on foot fatigue.
