Nike Dunk Low SB Disposable Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Over a decade ago, Sean Cliver wrote the popular book Disposable: A History of Skateboard Art. This shoe’s colorway takes inspiration from that book.

They feature “Disposable” on the heel, a special insole graphic of the book’s cover art, and ship with blue and pink laces. The Nike Dunk Low SB Disposable is another pair with nice materials. This includes soft suede-like tumbled leather on the toebox, regular tumbled leather on the swoosh and rear and distressed suede/leather on the rest of the shoe.

I feel like the Nike Dunk Low SB Disposable is largely slept on, hitting outlets for $40! However, once pairs dry up, I believe these will become more sought after… they’re just quirky enough to draw some attention, and small eye-catching details like the pink on the front of the outsole add to the interesting look of the shoe.

These fit true to size for me, I highly recommend against going down a size. I possibly could have gone up half a size to give myself more room in the tongue, but these are not uncomfortable by any means.
