Under Armour Speedform Apollo Vent Black Red Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Sometimes you just have to try something new! I managed to come up on a couple of pairs of Under Armour Speedform Apollo Vent and wanted to shine a light on a truly overlooked shoe!

Now that Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has risen to fame in his UA’s, the brand has been getting some more attention, but mostly for basketball kicks and Curry’s sig line rather than its’ stripped-down running shoes.

The Speedform Apollo Vent is basically a lightweight running shoe with a knit-style upper.

The fit on these things is what really makes me happy. The toebox is a tad wider than most Nikes and other brands with similar running shoes. Also, the construction is seamless, so the pinky toe area doesn’t rub, which is awesome! Overall these are a lightweight and low cost alternative to more popular knit-based running kicks that still look dope on foot!

This brand might not be every streetwear-savvy collector’s first pick, however it’s worth looking into for comfortable kicks.
