SneakersNStuff x Karhu Aria Land of a Thousand Lakes Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

My other pair from this brand is one of my favorite new runners. These SneakersNStuff x Karhu Aria Land of a Thousand Lakes are my first pair of Arias and are based off of Finland.

Land of a Thousand Lakes

Since Karhu is a Finnish brand, it’s only right that they pay homage to their lake-filled country! These feature SNS branding and water graphics on the insole.

This is kind of an odd shoe to wear because kicks with multiple shades of blue can be hard to match. That said, I can see khakis or dark/black pants being the move with these. Besides that, a grey or white top can complete the look.

I will definitely be picking up more from this brand! The value vs materials and shape seems dope even on non-collabs. If you can still pick these up, I recommend it!

How Are The Materials?

The materials on these look pretty good and are fairly decent! While not the smoothest suede ever, it is still miles beyond most releases out today. If you want a modern collab with really above par materials this might be what you are looking for!

How Do They Fit?

The SneakersNStuff x Karhu Aria are a very comfortable shoe at true size. They have the sock-bootie neoprene tongue thing going on like GLVs but with less of a narrow overall build. This means that with the flexible suede upper, these work at half a size down which is what I went with. Hard to beat the shape on these either, they have a nice pointy toebox fresh out the box!
