Saucony Shadow 6000 Irish Coffee Whiskey Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

I copped the Cream pair of these and after witnessing firsthand the dopeness of the shoe, had to go back and grab the Saucony Shadow 6000 Irish Coffee Whiskey.

Like the other pair, this represents an ingredient used in the recipe for Irish coffee; in this case, whiskey. I had to go ahead and grab this pair especially coming off of my recent vacation to Ireland (note: Irish coffee is not a real Irish drink, it was invented in San Francisco).

The suede is great on these, but I’m not a fan of the slight production errors (glue marks, midsole paint issues). These issues are minor and don’t detract from the awesomeness of the shoe. I still highly recommend these for the buttery suede and crispy overall look.

The Saucony Shadow 6000 Irish Coffee Whiskey fit true to size and are very comfortable. The premium upper doesn’t add much weight and these shoes are plenty breathable like others I’ve reviewed. You won’t be disappointed in the look or quality of these!
