Nike Dunk Low SB Wizard of Oz Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Today I’m sporting the Nike Dunk Low SB Wizard of Oz and they are definitely one of the more interesting pairs I’ve worn. These were designed in collaboration with Iowa sneaker store The Full Kit, seeing as both the Wizard of Oz and Iowa are famous for tornadoes!

The gingham sock liner, yellow brick road graphic on the insole, and dusty fade from black to white all draw inspiration from the Wizard of Oz movie. As far as colorways go, this is one of the more interesting releases from this era of SB Dunks

The upper is a canvas material, except the swoosh and back tab which are leather. This material is probably what holds these back the most, and the sneaker definitely creases in weird ways when worn thanks to the composition of the upper. These ship with red and white laces.

This sneaker is also known as the Nike SB Dunk Low Dorothy. You can use either name and most will know what you are talking about. Of course, depending on what site you are looking at and/or who you’re talking to.
