Nike Dunk High SB Send Help 2 Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Hopes were high for the Nike Dunk High SB Send Help 2 after the success of the black box Send Help release. Unfortunately for Nike and designer Todd Bratrud, these weren’t nearly as popular as expected and went on heavy discount everywhere. However, sometimes the shoes that are not a big splash initially wind up going for big bucks later – life is all about irony!

Anyhow, it’s tough to see how people slept on these considering how dope the shoe is and how many details help make it stand out. The shoe has Send Help very clearly printed on the back on some purple elephant print. These also have a Send Help print on the tongue tag and a special insole graphic.

The shoe is all suede except for the leather swoosh and nylon tongue – the black suede is ok but the toebox suede is actually decent!

With respect to comfort, these are fairly average for a relatively modern Nike SB. If you find SB Dunks to be snug, you wouldn’t be the only one. In this case, going up a half size from your normal true size can be helpful.

The shoe ships with black, offwhite and purple laces, but besides that no extras.
