Nike Dunk High SB Fern Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector. Updated: 09-27-2015

Rumor has it that the Nike Dunk High SB Fern are a collaboration with Neal Skateshop in Japan, however I haven’t found any definite proof that this is the case.

Regardless if these are a collab, they are definitely part of a “fern pack” with multiple SB models and apparel, all sharing the plant motif. While these probably aren’t for everyone, I’m really liking the dark tone of the plant print on the upper which makes it not very obvious until you are fairly close. It’s a good way to rock a pattern and still be low key with it.

These basically have a thick canvas type material with black suede overlays and swoosh and come with black and olive SB laces. The materials here seem sturdy, although not anything special as far as premium quality.

These are also pretty comfy for a current SB with the toebox being a lot more forgiving than typical new releases. This is surprising for a sturdy canvas upper on a sneaker.
