Nike Blazer Ice Cream Pack Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

Seeing as there was a great sale going on (over now :/), I was able to come up on a pair of Nike Blazer Ice Cream Pack for $50 shipped! Totally worth it too!

There are two other colorways I might grab while they’re still this inexpensive… Anyway these are based off of ice cream, thus you have the waffle cone texture on the swoosh and the “colored candy sprinkles” graphic on the insole. Regardless of theme, these are a nice shoe with a clean colorway – definitely not neckbreakers, just a nice low key pair of quality kicks.

These are a vintage (VNTG) pair of Blazers, so you are going to get the tongue with exposed padding and the white is more of an offwhite. Luckily, Nike kept the vintage effect off of the midsole, which has in my opinion ruined previous pairs that had potential. The main material that makes up a bulk of the upper is suede with the swoosh having some texture to it and leather at the upper rear of the shoe. All in all, the materials are excellent for a $50 shoe. They are no wheat Forbes, but the suede is decent and soft to the touch. Overall the materials are not bad at all and especially not for the price I paid!

The Nike Blazer Ice Cream Pack fits true to size. Blazers tend to run narrow and they are a basic shoe just like Chucks or Sk8 His, so the cushioning isn’t exactly fancy or next level. However, the shoe remains comfortable in it’s simplicity.
