Nike Air Zoom Elite 8 Total Orange Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

The Nike Air Zoom Elite 8 is supposed to be a lightweight model of runner built for speed. A lot of people slept on these, but they’re actually a really dope shoe, even if you don’t run!

I really dig the look of these, with the knit pattern, swoosh on the toe and bright orange/green color combo. The design works towards the lightweight theme with “flymesh” uppers (which appear to be flywire and engineered mesh) and a thinner outsole than the Zoom Structure 18.

The material quality here is decent, basically what you would expect for a sneaker of this type; good enough to be functional.

The differences in setup from the Zoom Structure definitely make these shoes feel very lightweight and responsive. The comfort on these is great, and I recommend going true to size if you’re planning on copping the Nike Air Zoom Elite 8 Total Orange.

These come with black oval laces.
