I haven’t bought a pair of Air Max 95 since the Noise Aqua pair, but I’m ready to correct the mistake. Starting with these Nike Air Max 95 Black Neon Retro Logo.
These get their nickname from the colorway and of course the extra logo on the side. Apparently these are a JD Sports / Finishline exclusive release (for now).
These ship in a simple orange Nike Sportswear box with basic black rope laces and no extras. As indicated earlier, these feature an additional “classic” Air Max logo below the stitched in swoosh on the side of the sneaker.
I’m a sucker for neon plus black and/or grey on a sneaker. As soon as I saw these I knew they would be my next 95, quality be damned! And in hand, I’m loving my decision because the colorway is fire!
How Are The Materials?
These are another basic suede and mesh runner from Nike Sportswear. You get a GR level of materials, so only get this shoe only if you like the colorway. Do not expect premium suede, because instead we get a more retro-inspired felt suede. These are more about that neon cutting through the black for me rather than the materials, but if you are looking for something premium, definitely look elsewhere.
How Do They Fit?
I went true to size on these, and they do fit on the snug side before they break in. Sizing aside, these are very comfortable, if you’ve worn any retro 90s Air Max then you have some idea already what to expect.
