Lebron 8 V2 Low Solar Red Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

The Lebron 8 V2 Low Solar Red is one of those shoes that just catches the eye with it’s good-looking silhouette and a color scheme that contains loud colors, yet still works and has a simple vibe.

I remember when these dropped in 2011, it was like the quiet before the storm and out of nowhere these sold out and became insanely popular.

The shoe comes in a pull out drawer style box much like other Lebron 8’s and includes the solar red laces shown.

The mesh, TPU and Flywire materials make this a fairly lightweight shoe and the full-length airbag and low cut give this shoe plenty of cushy comfort. These don’t hug your feet in quite the same way as the mids, but they do give a comfortable snug fit.

I obviously had to cop these when they dropped to avoid paying resale prices and the only complaint I have about these is that they are a bit snug. Other than that, the shoe feels great and looks awesome on foot. I can’t count how many heads I visibly turn when I’m rocking these, nearly everyone’s focus turns to these kicks!
