New Balance 327 Reviews

The New Balance 327 is a newer model from NB.  It has a similar looking cousin, the 237.  I think the 327 is the more extreme looking of the two, though.

The model debuted in 2020 and is inspired by various New Balance releases from the 70s. They combine the oversized N from 1976’s NB320 with the outsole from 1977’s 355.  The upper comes from 1977’s Supercomp.

NB threw all these in the blender, and came out with a “retro-inspired” model.  This is a concept that New Balance and other brands have done quite frequently.  Basically, a brand will refresh an old model but add some modern touches to make it palatable to a new audience.  These models are perfect for people that want that retro feel without looking outdated.
